Moo-Chan has a Doctorate in Ministry from Catholic Theological Union Chicago, with a thesis on MSC ministry in the Context of Korean Society and Church. He has served as hospital chaplain, director of aspirants and postulants and secretary of the Korean Region. He was Rector of the Scholasticate. His special interest is the inculturation of MSC life and spirituality in Korea. This is the first General Chapter at which Korea will be present as a Province. It was erected in 2019 and Benedict was elected as its first Provincial.
