Biography:
Father Christian MONGAY was born in Kinshasa (DR Congo) on August 28, 1980. He made his first profession on August 14, 2005, his Perpetual profession on April 20, 2010. He was ordained priest on May 22, 2011. Since his ordination, he worked as Head Formator of the Prenovitiate of Kinshasa (2012-2014 and 2019-2020) and of Dakar in Senegal (2017-2019). Since 2020, he has served as Superior of the Districts of Congo (DR CONGO and CONGO BRAZZAVILLE). He also worked as Principal Manager of our School of Kisenso in Kinshasa (from 2011 to 2014). Since his Doctorate in Practical Philosophy at the Gregorian University of Rome in 2017, he has been a Professor of Philosophy in more than one Institute (in Dakar, then in Kinshasa and in Mbandaka). In the service of the Church, he was Academic Secretary General of the Saint Augustin University of Kinshasa (2019-2021), and since 2021, he is the President of the Board of Directors of this University. Since 2020, he accompanies the Consecrated of his Ecclesiastical Province as Provincial President of COSUMA (Conference of Major Superiors) Mbandaka.
