Joe is a native of Donegal, Ireland, and joined the MSC in 1978. Immediately after ordination he spent two years in Rome studying systematic theology. Since then, most of his working life has been spent in England in parish work and chaplaincy at Princethorpe College. He has also spent 6 years as Director of Formation, offering pastoral supervision to the theology students in Dublin. He served as Provincial of the Irish Province from 2011 – 2017. He has enjoyed getting to know the members of the province. He takes up another term as Provincial this year.
