Biography:
After ordination, Juan Tomás worked in various parishes as Parochial Vicar and as Parish priest of Nuestra Señora del Sagrado Corazón in Santo Domingo and Parish priest of El Buen Pastor y Nuestra Señora de Las Mercedes in Cuba. From 2000 to 2002 he was the Director of the MSC seminary of El Palmar de Herrera. In May 2015, he was elected Provincial Superior for the Dominican Republic Province and served three years. In 2021 he was elected once again for a second mandate.
