Biography:

Richard is the only Catholic in his family. When He was a high school student, he had to spend two years to be baptised without his family knowing it. After 12 years of discernment, he finally decided to quit his work in Financial and Accounting Department in Samsung and to join the MSC.

In his first year of priesthood, He was a vocation director and also worked with youth. He built and maintained the homepage, Facebook, Instagram, and App of MSC Korea. As a Communication director, he posts news of MSC Korea on SNS.

In his second year, he became the formator for pre-novitiate and also JPIC director. Since his third year, he became a formator for post-noviciate as well. While he is accompanying his formands, he has been devoting himself as an interpreter and translator for the Province. He has also joined in social activities related to JPIC in Korea.

He has majored in Economics and Social welfare. He sub-majored in Japanese and Japanese literature. He is a qualified secondary psychological counselor and is preparing to be qualified Emotional Coach and Strength Finder Coach.

He wants to learn more about MSC, Formation, and JPIC.

He has a great sense of humour.
