The 26th MSC General Chapter reached a very important moment. After the last day’s discernment sessions, the tenth day was the day of the election of the Superior General.
Abzalón Re-elected As Superior General
Mario Abzalón Alvarado Tovar, msc, has been re-elected as Superior General of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart. “We will continue with shared leadership,” this was the first idea he wanted to convey to the assembly.

Eighth Day. 25th September.
Like in the Creation story, the seventh day (Sunday) was a day of rest. The formal chapter sessions continued on Monday wherein the capitulants worked on the Proposals of the Constitutions & Statutes Commission.
